How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Senior Designer of Design System, you’ll be an integral part of driving a delightful, consistent, and cohesive user experience for millions of Listeners across our products and platforms.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a cohesive design language, framework, and strategy for SiriusXM Digital products.

You will be partnering with our Design System’s Lead to develop and implement design standards and guidelines, as well as collaborate with Designers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent design across all platforms and touchpoints.

• Lead the design of a comprehensive design system that includes design patterns, components, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Designers and cross-functional teams, such as product management, engineering, and Marketing, and Brand to ensure consistent design across all touchpoints.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines, such as style guides and pattern libraries, and components that ensure consistency in visual design, interaction design, and user experience.
• Work with the design team to ensure that all designs align with the overall design system to create a consistent user experience across all platforms.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on designs submitted by other team members to ensure alignment with the design system.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Provide mentorship for designers to develop their skills in system design
  

What You’ll Need

• A portfolio of work that demonstrates a strong understanding of design systems, as well as experience creating and maintaining design guidelines.
• Strong visual design skills, including experience with graphic design, typography, layout, and color.
• Strong understanding of user experience design principles and a track record of designing user-centric products or services.
• Proficient in Figma, etc.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
  

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $122,500 to $155,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
